Unlike traditional networking events, Friday Club has no rigid structure or awkward pitches. It’s all about genuine connections in a friendly, down-to-earth setting. With local beverages, regional pints, and the warm atmosphere of Wigan’s Cotton Works venues.

Expect a mix of familiar faces and new introductions. From freelancers and creatives to developers, local business leaders, and professionals looking to grow their network in Wigan.

There’s no formal agenda. Just authentic conversation, community spirit, and the chance to discover new opportunities across Wigan’s growing business scene.

Friday Club proudly collaborates with Team Wigan and Leigh, a partnership that celebrates and supports the borough’s thriving business and charitable community.

Together, we’re creating opportunities for local companies to connect, contribute, and give back, while raising funds for important causes across Wigan and Leigh.

Friday Club is our way of introducing the old Eckersley Mill area and Cotton Works to the business people of Wigan. A place where we would love to invite you for your meetings, events, celebrations and perhaps even a permanent (or flexible) workspace.

We meet up every second Friday of the month. If you sign up as a member of Friday Club, you’ll get a free drink on arrival! There’s no formal structure to our networking. Just come along, meet new people and enjoy a laidback social occasion with like-minded business folk!
